Hey, I'm Philip. I built DirtJapan because I couldn't find what I needed — a single, reliable place to discover offroad riding spots across Japan, whether you speak English or Japanese.
Japan has incredible terrain. Forest roads through cedar mountains, volcanic tracks, enduro circuits — but the information is scattered, buried in Japanese-only forums, or passed only between riders who already know. I wanted to change that.
This is still growing, and it's only as good as the people who contribute to it. If you ride — or know someone who does — your local knowledge is exactly what makes this place worth coming back to.
