A long dirt forest road in Gunma Prefecture connecting to Saitama via Yagutoge Pass. With few cedar plantations, the vegetation is bright and open — notably cheerful compared to most rindo. The Gunma dirt section runs approximately 11.5 km with panoramic mountain views at several points along the way.

Getting There

From Saitama side: enter from Prefectural Road 282 in the Nishi-Chichibu area, cross Yagutoge Pass, and connect via the Takaogi Line (林道高荻線) to reach the Futago-yama Line entrance. The Gunma-side terminus is at National Route 299. The Saitama section (~3.3 km) is paved; the Gunma section is dirt.
